Macarons are light, delicious and simply irresistible! They come in a wide range of bright colours and countless flavours, so there’s bound to be something for everyone. The possible combinations when making macarons are endless. These meringue-based biscuits, made with ground almonds, have become an integral part of French patisseries. In Switzerland, too, these delicious biscuits have gained widespread popularity thanks to similar versions produced by well-known confectioners.
Just because something looks simple doesn’t always mean it’s easy to make. Anyone who has ever tried their hand at making macarons will surely have realised that they aren’t the easiest of pastries to make, and that to achieve a brilliant result, you need to pay attention to many different factors.
In our course, you’ll learn about the various factors you need to bear in mind to ensure you end up with beautiful macarons with that characteristic ‘foot’. That’s why our professional course leaders will make sure you go home with plenty of valuable tips and tricks, lots of delicious, homemade macarons and our recipe booklet.

In our course, we focus on the exact recipe and method for making macarons. Each participant makes their own macaron batter, colours it in various shades and learns how to pipe the batter correctly. Afterwards, our course leader will show you various decoration options, and there’ll be no limits to your creativity. After decorating your macarons with flowers, cocoa nibs, hearts, glitter and much more, you’ll make your own macaron batter once again – practice makes perfect! Now you’ll learn how to make the macaron batter with different flavour combinations and pipe sweet mini macarons that are just the right size to pop into your mouth.

Whilst the macaron shells are baking in the oven, our course instructor will show you the different fillings and flavour variations available. You’ll learn which buttercream is best suited as a macaron filling, how to make a ganache that’s easy to pipe, and how to make a fruity jelly.
Then comes the best bit – filling your freshly baked macaron shells. You can choose from the following flavours for your filling:
Vanilla
Mango
Hazelnut
Caramel
Pistachio
Champagne
Dark chocolate
and a wide variety of fruit jellies.
