Sugar flowers accessories

Making sugar flowers yourself works well with the right accessories. We stock almost 50 items you need for it: flower paste, floristry wire, stamens, brushes, formers and polystyrene supports.

What is included in sugar flower accessories?

The base is white flower paste (200 g, 1 kg and FunCakes 250 g). Floristry wire comes in white and green in gauges 18 to 28, together with floristry tape in white, light green and brown for wrapping the wires. Stamens are available small, medium and large in yellow, pink, red, orange, pearl, plus lily stamens in yellow or brown. Flower formers and the grooved professional work board give petals and leaves their texture. For drying and arranging there are flower cones (small, medium, large), polystyrene balls (5 and 7 cm) and flower holders. Brushes from no. 3 to no. 10, a fan brush, brush sets and an edible gloss spray for the finishing touch complete the range. A cake steamer sets colour and shine.

Tips for beautiful sugar flowers

• The higher the gauge number, the finer the wire: 28 for delicate petals, 18 for sturdy stems.
• Work with a small amount of paste at a time and keep the rest covered so it does not dry out.
• Let the flowers dry completely before arranging them into bouquets.
