Baby Cake Topper

A baby cake topper belongs on every cake for a birth, christening, baby shower or first birthday. Here you will find around 25 toppers and decorations that show at a glance what the celebration is about.

What is in the baby cake topper range?

For an announcement or baby shower there is the blue 'It's a Boy' topper, the pink 'It's a Girl' topper and a 'Hello Baby' sign with a mirror finish. For a first birthday there are 'One' toppers in gold or silver, a gold 'One' cake bunting, plus foil balloons and mini balloons with gold numbers. There is also sugar decoration Baby Girl and Baby Boy, a christening figure of a girl with a rabbit, baby shower candles (set of 10) and Disney figures such as Winnie the Pooh, Piglet and Tigger.

Tips for the baby cake

• Figurines are toys, not food. Stand them on a disc of fondant or baking paper and remove them before cutting.
• For a first birthday, a small cake with a big 'One' is enough: less decoration looks calmer and better in photos.
• A baby shoe cutter lets you make matching biscuits or fondant shoes to go with the cake.

Frequently asked questions

What suits a christening and what suits a baby shower?

For a christening, the christening figure and a restrained gold or silver topper fit well. For a baby shower, choose 'It's a Boy', 'It's a Girl' or 'Hello Baby'.
