Happy Birthday

For birthday cake decorations you will find more than 900 items with us: cake toppers, candles, themed sprinkles, sugar decorations and wafer paper, plus cupcake cases, candy floss and packaging. Whether it is a children's party with dinosaurs and unicorns or an adult's cake in gold and silver, this is where you put together the decorations for the whole birthday table.

What is there for the birthday cake?

The biggest range is our Super Streusel sprinkles. Besides classic mixes such as gold chocolate pearls, glitter dust in several colours or XL crunchy pearls, there are themed mixes for children's parties, for example Unicorn, Dinos, Superhero, Wizarding School, Ponies or Rocket Powder. On the side of a cake, on cupcakes or as a decoration in a glass, they make an impact with very little effort.

For a more personal touch, choose a cake topper: "Happy Birthday" in gold, silver, rose gold, rainbow or wood, sets for football fans, or figures and vehicles such as a digger or tractor. You will find more in the Happy Birthday cake toppers. For the age, number candles are ideal, for example white and gold or rose gold with pink glitter. For two-digit ages, place two candles side by side.

Tips from our bakery

• Sprinkles last: scatter sugar decorations just before serving. On damp cream the colours run over time.
• Pressing on a border: for a sprinkle border, cover the cake with buttercream and gently press the sprinkles onto the side by hand.
• Wafer paper toppers: place designs such as the unicorn or dinosaur on fondant or a dry icing, not on damp cream, or they will soften.
• Toppers and candles: figurines, cake toppers and candles are pure decoration and come off the cake before you cut it.

Frequently asked questions

How many sprinkles do I need for one cake?

To cover the top, a 90 g tub is usually enough. For a full sprinkle border, several cakes or lots of cupcakes, take several tubs or the larger SuperBox Rainbow of 250 g.

How do I put the age on the cake?

With number candles pushed into the cake, or with a cake topper. For toddlers there are candles with the digits 0 to 3; for larger numbers you combine several candles.

When do I need to order by?

Orders placed before 4 pm are dispatched the same day by A-Post, and delivery is usually the next working day. Delivery is free from CHF 100, otherwise it costs CHF 9.
