What is a 5 cm ring good for?

For cheesecake, mousse and yoghurt cakes, and cakes with one or two layers. If you want a classically layered cake with a little more room, choose 6 cm. For shallow fruit cakes and tarts, 3 cm is more practical. For very tall builds there is 10 cm.
