Course cancellation conditions

All registrations for our courses are binding. The invoice must be settled by the day of the course, taking into account the payment deadline or in the case of short-term bookings. Otherwise, the participant undertakes to pay the outstanding amount in cash at the venue as appropriate.

MiniSchoggi reserves the right to cancel courses due to insufficient demand and without giving further reasons up to 5 days before the start of the course. In such a case, the participant has the option of taking part in another course as an alternative or claiming back any payments already made in full.

Courses that take place on site:

If you are unable to attend a course or no longer wish to participate, a distinction is made between rebooking for another date and cancellation. Please note that the course can never be rebooked or cancelled free of charge, not even due to illness. Therefore, there are always costs, although these are waived in most situations (illness, accident, etc.) with the conclusion of the participation protection, more details below.

Rebooking

Participants may change their booking up to 30 days before the start of the course and will be charged an administration fee of CHF 20. If the participant changes the course at a later date, 50% of the course fee will be due. The fee applies to each course place booked.

Rebooking later than 48 hours before the start of the course is not possible and will be charged as a cancellation.

Cancellation

Cancellation of course participation by the participant is possibleup to 30 days before the start of the course , in which case a processing fee of CHF 50 will be charged.

Ifthe participant cancels the course at a later date or does not appear on the day of the course, 100% of the course fee will be due. The fee applies per course place.

Participation protection for course booking

The participation protection for courses is the ideal supplement to the course booking, which you should not omit. This ensures that even in the event of unforeseen incidents such as illness, accident, etc. (exact list and details here), you can take part in a course on a later date without any additional costs. Participation cover is not compulsory and can be purchased voluntarily together with the course. If you do not purchase it, the normal course and cancellation conditions apply.

What happens in the event of illness or an accident?

Unfortunately, situations arise in life that make it impossible to participate in a planned course. Be it a sudden illness, a severe flu or even an accident. We at miniSchoggi regret such an event very much, because we would of course prefer to welcome all registered persons to the course. However, the course costs are still due in all situations, because we are usually unable to sell the booked place in an extremely short time and have already incurred various costs in connection with the order. Therefore, with the best will in the world, we cannot bear these individual risk costs of a single person ourselves. We therefore recommend booking voluntary participation protection. Thank you for your understanding.

Online live courses & external cancellation insurance

Online live courses

Online live courses cannot be cancelled, but the registration can be passed on to another person. To do this, simply send an e-mail to events@minischoggi.ch before the online live course.

If you would like to change your booking to another date or another course, this is possible up to 48 hours before the start of the course and a processing fee of CHF 20.00 will be charged.

External cancellation insurance as additional protection

Cancellation insurance can be taken out to supplement the participation cover. This is of course not compulsory, but offers the insured person financial protection in the event of various events (details below in the link). This means that the insured person is compensated for the benefits not drawn on a pro rata basis.

Attention, the restrictions are very comprehensive and therefore this is not to be compared with the participation protection! The big advantage, however, is that external costs are usually also covered, so if this point is important to you, it may be worthwhile.
