Happy Birthday Cake Topper

A Happy Birthday cake topper turns any cake into a birthday cake in seconds. We stock over 180 toppers and decorative figures to place on top: lettering, numbers, cupcake toppers and figurines for birthday children of all ages.

Which birthday toppers do we have?

The classics are the 'Happy Birthday' signs in gold, silver, rose gold, metallic, rainbow, mirror finish and wood. For milestone birthdays there are gold numbers from 0 to 9, foil balloons and mini balloons as number toppers, plus cupcake toppers with 18, 30, 40, 60, 70 or 80 in packs of 12. For children's parties we have figurines: Disney characters such as Elsa, Olaf, Minnie, Mickey, Stitch and Winnie the Pooh, as well as unicorn, dinosaur, Alpine cow, shark, tractor, digger, fire engine and Vespa. Sets of 16 Peppa Pig or Frozen toppers are handy if you want to decorate the cupcakes too.

Using cake toppers properly

• Figurines are toys, not food: stand them on a disc of fondant or a piece of baking paper and take them off before cutting the cake.
• The lettering is roughly 16 to 18 cm wide (see the product names), so it looks best on cakes from about 18 cm diameter.
• Add toppers last, once the cream or fondant has set. Nothing sinks in and the decoration stays straight.

Frequently asked questions

Which topper suits which age?

For toddlers, figures such as Winnie the Pooh or animals are popular; for school children, dinosaurs, vehicles and Disney characters. For adults, a gold sign or number looks most elegant.

Are there printable toppers?

No, we sell ready-made toppers to place on the cake, not printable templates.

More choice is in the parent category Cake Topper & Wedding Figurines, for example baby cake toppers or Christmas cake toppers. Ideas for themed parties are under Children's parties & themes.
