Triangular cake rings are the choice for anyone who bakes geometrically: fir tree, mountain, tent or simply a modern cake with clean edges. We stock seven triangle cake rings in 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 23 and 25 cm, all 5 cm high.

Which triangle rings do we have?

The rings differ in size: 12 and 14 cm for small or gift tartlets, 16 and 18 cm for cakes for a small gathering, 20, 23 and 25 cm for celebration cakes. All have the same height of 5 cm, so you can combine several sizes into a tiered cake.

What is the triangle shape good for?

  • Christmas tree: with green buttercream and small decorations, the triangle cake becomes a fir tree, especially in Advent.
  • Mountains and tents: for children's birthdays with a camping or mountain theme.
  • Modern design: a single-colour triangle cake with a topper on top looks sleek and refined.

For a round alternative, see round cake rings, and for another angular shape, square cake rings.

Tips from the bakery

Place the ring on baking paper and spread the batter into all three corners with a scraper. The points brown faster, so the batter should not be too thin there. After cooling, loosen the edges with a thin knife. On a triangle cake the corners often get too little cream, so pay special attention to them when coating. For the base, our basic sponge recipe or the moist chocolate sponge are good choices.

Frequently asked questions

Do the sizes refer to the length of a side?

The figure in the product name is the ring's measurement in centimetres. Check the size on the product page if you use a particular board or cake stand.
