Silicone hemisphere and sphere moulds are what you need for mousse balls, cake pops, florentines and dome desserts. Here you will find more than 50 moulds with diameters from 15 mm to 8 cm.

Which hemisphere and sphere moulds do we stock?

For hemispheres the choice runs from Ø 2.5 to 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 cm, some by Silikomart. Sphere moulds come in Ø 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 43, 45, 50, 55 and 60 mm, the smallest with up to 130 cavities per mould. You will also find domes, half-round moulds, florentines (Ø 3.5 and 4.8 to 6 cm), doughnuts and cake pop moulds.

Which size for what?

  • 15 to 30 mm: small spheres for chocolate fillings, confectionery or decoration.
  • 35 to 60 mm: for cake pops, mousse balls and rum balls.
  • Hemispheres Ø 5 to 8 cm: for individual desserts set on a base or joined into a whole sphere.

Tips from our kitchen

For a whole sphere, fill two hemispheres, freeze them and join them with a little liquid mixture or on a warm plate. Turn mousse out while still frozen. To cast hollow chocolate shells, see the chocolate hemisphere moulds and domes and hemispheres for chocolates. For small balls on a stick, take a look at the cake pop moulds. Our punch balls turn sponge offcuts into treats, and our homemade cake pops stay firmly on the stick.
