Sugarcel, also known as CMC, is a natural thickener that is very popular for adding elasticity and strength to flower paste and fondant.
The powder is odorless and tasteless.
Adding a little Sugarcel (CMC) to finished flower paste will increase the flexibility of the sugar paste. It also has the effect of strengthening the modeling paste and making it release moisture faster. Thus, making sugar flowers from flower paste becomes faster and easier for you.
Sugarcel allows you to make even more intricate flowers, vines and ornaments from rolled fondant or flower paste.
You can also make your own edible glue with Sugarcel and water. To the Sugarcel powder, gradually add 30 ml of water and mix until uniform.
This makes even more cake decorating possibilities feasible.
