Wooden cellar set heart
The soup is simmering in the pot, in the frying pan the onions are slowly becoming translucent and the risotto wants to be stirred. A wooden cooking spoon is always needed! Not only salty dishes can be prepared with a wooden spoon. Sweet treats, such as a firm vanilla cream for perfect cream slices or a toasted choux pastry for noble éclairs also need a suitable ladle.
The ladle is particularly practical for firmer masses, such as a latex dough. Since this is a ladle with a hole, the resistance during stirring is somewhat lower and more oxygen gets into the dough. This gives you a wonderfully airy dough.
Also for fondue and risotto, the use of a wooden ladle with a hole is always recommended. With a fondue, you can also always stir in a figure eight. This prevents the cheese from sticking to the bottom in the middle and possibly burning. However, if you don't want to miss out on a delicious crust at the end, once the caquelon is on the table, don't stir in a zigzag or figure eight shape.
When cleaning the wooden ladles should be careful that they are never soaked with water. This would be the case if they are washed in the dishwasher or soaked for a long time with the pan. This will quickly make the wood brittle and cracks may appear.
The wooden ladles do not absorb odors from food and as a natural product are ideal for delicious dishes of all kinds. Thanks to the pretty shaped hole, the noble ladles are also a perfect gift or souvenir. Especially suitable, for example, if you are invited to a fondue.
