Oval and curved chocolate moulds are made for colour: on waves, drops and soft arches, a colour gradient really comes into its own. Here you will find over 20 moulds with gentle lines, from the classic oval to the modern Halfpipe.

Which shapes do we stock?

The classics are the oval with 28 pralines, Oval Elegant with 30 pralines, the oval set and the cushion. Movement comes from Wave, Welle, Flow, Fluid, Aurora and Rotation. Drop and Drops are slim and elegant. Tunnel, ridged tunnel, Halfpipe, Slope and Choco Line have long, calm lines. Modern half-round, Plateau, Curved and Oval with crack round off the range.

Colour gradients with an airbrush

For soft transitions, an airbrush for chocolate is the best tool. Here is how:

  • Spray at an angle: hold the gun low and spray the coloured cocoa butter from one side only. The colour lands on the curve facing you, the other side stays lighter.
  • Two colours: spray the first from the left and the second from the right. Where they meet in the middle, a third shade appears, especially lively on Wave and Aurora.
  • White backing: finish with a thin layer of white over everything. Your colours stay bright even when you fill with dark couverture chocolate.
  • Highlight the ridges: on the ridged tunnel or Choco Line, a very flat angle colours only the edges of the ridges.

How compressor and gun work together is explained in our article how an airbrush works.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create a gradient without an airbrush?

Yes, with a small sponge. Dab the colour on from one side and get lighter towards the centre. The transition is less even but looks charmingly handmade.

Where can I learn to airbrush?

On our airbrush praline course in Adliswil.

Do you also have angular shapes?

Yes, cubes, pyramids and diamonds are in our geometric chocolate moulds, and the full range is under chocolate moulds.
