With our silicone tuile moulds you bake wafer-thin, crisp tuiles (Hüppen) in delicate motifs: leaves, flowers, butterflies, feathers or circles for éclairs. They decorate cakes, desserts and ice cream, and work just as well on starters and tartare. For the batter we offer a tuile baking mix.

Which tuile moulds do we stock?

  • Leaves and plants: leaf, maple leaf, oak leaf, twig, ginkgo, bonsai, olives, tropical leaves (54 pieces), leaf mix (45 pieces) and jungle 4 in 1.
  • Flowers and fruit: flowers, flower wreath, sea of flowers, flower magic, garden, apples and pears and lemon slices.
  • Animals and sea: large and small butterfly, bee (52 pieces), pair of birds, feather, coral and fishbones.
  • Patterns: circles, hearts, honeycomb, beehive, mandala, braided, fan and spoon and fork.
  • For éclairs: long tuiles in éclair and half-moon shapes with circles, hearts, leaves or triangles.
  • Winter: snowflake, snow stars and circles with Christmas baubles.
  • Tuile baking mix, 120 g, also with chocolate: you only add butter and eggs.

How to use a tuile mould

Spread the tuile batter thinly over the mould, scrape the surface clean with an angled spatula and bake the mould in the oven. Thanks to the flexible silicone, the delicate tuiles then release easily. Many moulds measure 30 x 20 or 30 x 17.5 cm, and the motifs are often only about 2 mm thin. You will find suitable spatulas under Spatulas & smoothers.
