What baking supplies do I need for my first pralines?
For your first pralines, only a few tools are needed: a high-quality couverture (Lindt, Felchlin or Callebaut), a polycarbonate praline mold, a thermometer for tempering, a brush and piping bag. We offer complete starter kits or individual pieces. Professionals add stencils, food coloring and special couvertures.
Swiss couverture vs. industrial chocolate — what's the difference?
True couverture contains at least 31% cocoa butter and melts smoothly during processing. We exclusively stock premium couvertures from Lindt, Felchlin and Callebaut — perfect for tempering, molding and coating. The quality difference is significant — it's what separates mediocre from outstanding pralines.
Delivery throughout Switzerland — how does it work?
We ship orders throughout Switzerland, including remote mountain regions. Swiss Post is our main partner; for pralines and chocolate, we use temperature-appropriate packaging — especially in summer. In-store pickup at our Backshop, Webereistrasse 55 in Adliswil, is also available. Orders placed before 11:00 are shipped the same day.
