At miniSchoggi you will find plates and dishes for dessert, pasta and buffets in several collections: Manufacture Rock in black and white, Lave, Perlemor, Crafted Breeze and the Iconic La Boule set. More than 30 items are available, from small dessert plates to large serving dishes.
Which plates do we offer?
The widest choice comes from Manufacture Rock: dinner plates (27 cm), pasta plates (28 cm), a universal coupe plate (25 cm), shallow and deep dishes (24 and 28 cm), soup bowls (13 cm) and dessert dishes (14 cm), each in black and white. Lave (gris, beige, glacé) and Perlemor (Coral, Sand) offer dinner plates and dishes, while Crafted Breeze has dinner plates, deep plates and a 16 cm dish.
Tips for plating
- For desserts and chocolates the small 14 cm dessert dishes work well. They do not look lost on the table.
- Dark tableware makes pale pastries, mousse and berries glow. On white tableware, chocolate tartlets stand out better.
- A deep plate or pasta bowl keeps sauces and creams together and also suits muesli or ice cream.
How to choose the right plate
Think about how you will use it: a dinner plate of about 27 cm for the main course, a smaller one for a slice of cake. For a uniform look, stay within one collection. More choice is under tableware collections, mixing bowls and serving bowls under bowls. Cups and glasses complete the table.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a plate and a dish?
A plate is flat and meant for solid food; a dish has a higher rim and holds soup, pasta or dessert with sauce.
Are these the same as party plates?
No. This is reusable tableware. Disposable plates for parties are not part of tableware; you will find them in party supplies.
