Zoo animals

Zoo animal cookie cutters are ideal for jungle, safari and zoo themes: elephant, giraffe, lion and zebra turn biscuits into a little trip to the zoo. This category holds about 25 shapes for children's birthdays, school starts or simply for the fun of baking.

Which zoo animals do we stock?

The elephant is especially versatile: a plain elephant, one with trunk up, a geo elephant and the elephant and crocodile set. The lion comes singly and in a 2-piece set with the giraffe. Then there are zebra and monkey with plunger, meerkat (with and without plunger), kangaroo, chameleon, alpaca and lizard. There is also an animal-pattern cutter and the Save The Planet set of 5. Polar bear, seal, turtle, water turtle and alligator are listed here too.

Tips for safari biscuits

• Big animals, big surfaces: elephant and giraffe suit icing and fondant well. A grey elephant with white tusks is quickly done.
• Thin legs and necks: giraffe and kangaroo have narrow parts. Chill the dough and do not roll it too thin.
• Plunger for detailed shapes: lion, monkey or zebra with a plunger release cleanly. More under plunger cookie cutters.

Also look at the aquatic animals (dolphin, penguin) and the forest animals (fox, bear, stag). All animals at a glance: animals. For a themed birthday, add birthday & themes.
