Brabantia – Over 100 Years of Trust in Every Kitchen

Some brands are created, grow, and disappear again. Brabantia is not one of them. Since 1919, this Dutch premium brand has been an essential part of households across Europe because it has always focused on what truly matters: quality that speaks for itself. Products that prove their value not through promises, but through daily use. Design that does not follow trends, but outlasts them.

Founded in 1919 – a story built on conviction

Everything began with a small family business called Van Elderen & Co., founded in 1919 in the Brabant region of the Netherlands by 15 people who believed in one idea: creating household products that truly last. Their first products were milk cans, jugs, and sieves. Simple, functional, and solid. The foundation for everything that followed. Despite major challenges – including World War II – the company continued to grow and innovate. Bread bins, rotary dryers, ironing boards, watering cans, storage tins, and eventually the product that made Brabantia world-famous: the pedal bin. A simple foot press opens the lid while both hands remain free – a design classic found in countless homes. Even today, many people still discover the iconic Brabantia Patrice pattern at their grandparents’ homes on storage tins, bread bins, or hot plates. Products that are decades old and still working perfectly. That is no coincidence.

The philosophy: designed for living

“Designed for living” is not just a slogan at Brabantia. It is a promise. Every product is created to genuinely improve everyday life: ergonomic, durable, and sustainable. Brabantia thinks in decades, not seasons. This is reflected in the lifetime warranties on many products, the use of recycled materials, and a commitment to environmentally responsible production. Sustainability at Brabantia is not a marketing campaign – it is a mindset. Products are designed to be repaired rather than replaced because a truly good product is the best argument against throwaway culture.

The Brabantia whisk – where precision meets beauty

The Brabantia whisk is made for people who take their kitchen seriously. Developed with the same standards that define every Brabantia product: precision craftsmanship, perfect balance in the hand, and a design that feels as good as it looks. The fine wires are perfectly aligned for optimal airflow while whisking, smooth movement while stirring, and results you can taste. Whether whipping egg whites, cream, scrambled eggs, or salad dressings – the Brabantia whisk turns every mixing task into an effortless and precise experience. The ergonomic handle sits comfortably and securely in the hand, even during extended use. The stainless steel material is easy to clean, hygienic, and durable. In short: a kitchen tool that truly deserves its place in the drawer.
