The emergence of Haza-Witbaard in March 2021 belongs to the second category. At that time, Witbaard Feestartikelen is already a company with over 120 years of family history. What began as party supplies retail has developed over generations into wholesale – with a range of more than 10,000 product lines and a distribution network extending far beyond the Dutch borders.

The Haza Group on the other side is not a small acquisition target, but an established wholesaler of paper products and party supplies with its own design DNA: an in-house design studio developing both own-brand and licensed products, which in the years before the merger began incorporating sustainable party supplies into its range. The customer base extends from the Netherlands throughout the world. From this combination emerges a company uniting market depth with design competence – two qualities rarely found together in a single house in the party supplies trade.

Almere – One Warehouse, One Network, One Full-Range Supplier

Haza-Witbaard's operational centre is the warehouse in Almere, at Bolderweg 35. From here, orders are shipped directly from stock to wholesalers, chain stores and retailers in the Netherlands and abroad. The company supplies exclusively to trade customers – the logic of a wholesaler that builds specialist retail partnerships rather than supplying end consumers directly. Those wishing to become customers as retailers apply via a form; Haza-Witbaard verifies sector affiliation and confirms the business relationship.

The design studio develops new collections annually, picking up current trends in colour, pattern and style. PAPER covers tissue paper, craft paper and further paper materials – base materials equally in demand for creative projects, gift design and craft applications. HOBBY is the area for craft concepts, stationery, foam products and creative accessories. Haza-Witbaard develops coordinated range groups here, enabling retailers to offer a coherent creative assortment.
