Outside it gets dark early, the freshly glazed cake sits on the table, and the children can hardly wait to decorate it. The Cake Topper Christmas Friends are made for exactly this moment: a set of four festive figures, namely a reindeer, a snowman, a Father Christmas and a Christmas tree. They are for everyone who bakes at Christmas and wants to give their cakes, tortes or cupcakes a Christmas motif with just a few simple steps. Together they form a little winter scene, and individually they decorate every bake on its own.
Four figures, one story
Father Christmas takes a rest beside the Christmas tree, the reindeer waits patiently and the snowman looks on. This is exactly the little scene that emerges when you place all four toppers together in a cake. Whether in a row, in a semicircle or staggered one behind the other: you decide what your winter story looks like.
With icing, berries and icing sugar for a winter landscape
The scene really comes alive when you combine it with a suitable background. A white icing or a smooth buttercream becomes the snowy meadow, a few rosemary sprigs turn into a little forest, and red redcurrants add bright splashes of colour. Finally, sprinkle some icing sugar over it, and the first snow is already falling.
What is this combination especially suitable for? For a chocolate cake or for a white-glazed Gugelhupf, on which the toppers stand as if on a snowy hill.
Individually on cupcakes and muffins
But the four friends do not always have to appear together. If you distribute them over four cupcakes, each little cake gets its own character. This is practical when your children may choose their favourite cupcake, or when you serve a platter of different varieties on an Advent afternoon. If you mix the toppers with sugar pearls or sprinkles in red and green, a harmonious overall picture emerges.
What is in the set
You receive 4 cake toppers with the motifs reindeer, snowman, Father Christmas and Christmas tree. The figures themselves are about 3 to 4 cm high, and with the skewer they measure around 6 to 7 cm. They are made of plastic that is suitable for contact with food.
Storage and care
Before the toppers are inserted into a cake for the first time, rinse them with hot water and dry them well. The same applies after every celebration, after which they return to your Christmas decorations and wait for next year. Dishwasher and oven are off limits, whereas refrigerator and freezer are no problem: a finished decorated cake may therefore stand cool until serving.
And when everyone then sits around the table and the children, with shining eyes, discover Father Christmas beside his reindeer on the snowy cake, the room suddenly falls completely silent.
