Stencil Easter bunny

Easter is approaching and the Easter Bunny is already busy painting the eggs that children can enjoy on the big day. With this stencil you create the perfect Easter dessert, a delicious cake with a fine powdered sugar drawing or even a decorated cake with a Royal Icing bunny. Should it rather be a little less sweet to the chocolate eggs, the chocolate Easter bunny and the sugar eggs, a small flour bunny can also be dusted on the bread.

Stencil - Application

Stencils can be used with a wide range of decorating compounds, so you should decide on a compound first. If you want to paint a pattern on a fondant base, chocolate or royal icing fits very well, for these proceed as follows:

Mix a little royal icing. If you want to use several colors for your motif, divide the mixture into different bowls. Mix the icing with a little food coloring and set aside. Place the stencil on your creation. You can work on a cake, on fondant or other smooth and not soft masses. Using a small angled spatula, apply a small amount of your mixture. By spreading it evenly, the icing will get onto the base. Keep spreading the compound until there are no more holes in the design. Wipe off excess compound from the stencil and add it back to the rest of the compound. Then carefully peel off the stencil, a great motif remains behind.

If you have an airbrush, you can also conjure up great patterns with it. Put the stencil back on and make sure that it does not slip. Then spray a little paint over it. You can also use different colors and thus create a color gradient. Clean the stencil well after each use with the airbrush, that no unwanted color stains on your creation.

As a simple decoration for cakes, you can sprinkle a little powdered sugar over the stencil. For the milk foam on the coffee or the edge of a dessert plate use cocoa powder. This way you create a sweet decoration in no time.
