The stainless steel Cookie cutter is perfect for any cookie dough. Whether savoury or sweet, this motif makes the baked goods taste even better. The Cookie cutters are suitable for various types of dough, Fondant and marzipan. Perfect for especially elegant cakes, cupcakes or muffins.

The Cookie cutter features an inner embossing. This means your cookies are already cut out with the necessary contours. So you don't need to decorate your cookies as much. The embossings can simplify decorating with Royal icing. Now you just need to decorate the various embossings with your desired colour.

How to use the pretty Cookie cutter

The ideal dough for the Cookie cutters
The stainless steel Cookie cutters are suitable for various types of dough. A simple butter cookie dough is not only delicious but also quick to make.
You'll need:
300 g flour
150 g icing sugar
8 g vanilla sugar
1 egg
1 tsp Baking powder
Zest of one unwaxed lemon
150 g butter

Here's how:
Simply mix all the ingredients together and knead into a firm dough. You can also use a stand mixer for this.
Now you can roll the dough out thinly and cut out the shapes with the Cookie cutters. Make sure your work surface, your hands, the Rolling pin and the Cookie cutters are dusted with flour. This prevents your dough from tearing during processing. A thinly rolled dough will be crispy after baking. If you prefer your cookies softer, you can leave the dough 0.5 cm thick. We recommend leaving the dough 0.5 cm thick, as the Cookie cutters leave an embossing in the cookie dough. This makes the cookies look even more beautiful after baking.

Now place the cookies on a Baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius until golden brown.

A little tip: When do you use cold butter and when do you use room-temperature or warm butter?
Simple: Cold butter is ideal for shortcrust doughs such as most cookie doughs. The cold butter holds the dough together and gives it stability. So use cold butter for your cookies and biscuits. This makes it easier to lift the cut-out shapes onto the Baking tray. If you notice your dough getting stickier and warmer, put it in the fridge for a few minutes.
Warm butter is used for smooth, pliable doughs. Usually the butter is beaten with eggs and sugar until smooth to prevent lumps. This is most often the case with cake recipes.

If you now want to decorate your cookies with Royal icing, grab the Royal icing mix. Prepare the mix as described on the packaging. To keep the icing from staying just white, you can colour it with the ProGel colours. Divide the icing into as many Bowls as you have colours. A touch of the ProGel colours is enough to achieve an intense colour. You can now apply the Royal icing to the cooled cookies with a brush or a cornet. You can also add various Sprinkle decor to the cookie. The cookie should now be placed in a dry spot for a while to dry. That's probably the hardest step for all sweet-tooths!

Simple Cookie cutters with many uses

Baking cookies is a wonderful family activity for a weekend. There's nothing better than sneaking a taste of the raw dough and decorating the Cookie cutters after baking. Decorating the cookies with coloured Royal icing, sugar icing or tempered chocolate is especially fun. You can also use the cutters as Cookie cutters for Cake decoration. Fondant or marzipan figures add the perfect highlights to a summery cake. To do this, roll out the Fondant or the marzipan with a Rolling pin and Magic roll-out powder and cut out the shapes.

Are the Cookie cutters easy to clean too? – Of course!

The stainless steel Cookie cutter can simply be placed in the dishwasher after use. In no time at all, the Cookie cutter is ready to use again.
