Sugar figures 3D Christmas, 3 figures
Christmas in three dimensions
When the Advent candles glow in December, the scent of cinnamon and Gingerbread drifts through the kitchen and the anticipation of Christmas grows day by day – then Santa Claus is not far away either. With the 3D Christmas sugar figures, three of the most popular Christmas figures land directly on cupcakes, cakes and desserts: the Christmas tree with its fine details, the cheerfully grinning snowman and the unmistakable Santa Claus in his red robe. What sets these figures apart from ordinary sugar decorations is their three-dimensionality – they literally stand on the baked goods, giving them depth and volume and creating a festive eye-catcher that stands out immediately and delights. What is behind these detailed figures? Sugar, milk protein and fine natural colourings – together they make dimensionally stable, light sugar figures built up from several layers that reliably retain their three-dimensional shape. The figures are compact yet impressive – the Christmas tree measures approx. Ø 3 cm x 3.2 cm high, the snowman approx. 3 cm and Santa Claus approx. 3.5 cm – perfect for a single cupcake as well as for a large festive cake.
How the figures are placed
The sugar figures are ready to use straight away – simply take them carefully out of the packaging and place them on the baked goods. On moist surfaces such as buttercream, frosting, ganache or cake icing, the figures stand stably and adhere without glue – simply place them on and press lightly. On dry fondant or smooth cake, a small dab of Edible glue or a drop of melted chocolate on the underside of the figure is enough – press on, wait a moment and the figure stands securely, even during transport. Sugar figures are sensitive to moisture – the fine details can become soft and the figures lose their shape. Therefore do not store the figures in the refrigerator and, on very moist surfaces such as freshly whipped cream or quark cream, only place them shortly before serving. On buttercream, ganache, fondant or sugar icing they can be placed earlier without problems. If the finished decorated baked goods are chilled, keep the time in the refrigerator as short as possible.
Versatile use – from the festive cake to the Advent cupcake
The three Christmas figures are a perfect trio for any Christmas baking. Arranged together on a cake, a complete Christmas scene emerges in seconds that must not be missing from any festive table – Santa Claus in the middle, the Christmas tree on the left, the snowman on the right, and the festive cake already tells its own little Christmas story. On Advent cupcakes, the figures add a festive accent as individual toppers that instantly brings sparkling eyes. The Christmas tree on the cupcake is just as delightful for the little ones as Santa Claus on the cake is for the grown-ups. Placed on Gingerbread, brownies or in dessert glasses shortly before serving, the three figures turn every baked good into a festive eye-catcher. And because no modelling is necessary, even children can help with the decorating without any problems – and choose their favourite figure themselves.
Storage
Store the sugar figures at room temperature, protected from light and dry. Do not store them in the refrigerator – moisture affects the fine details and the shape of the figures. Avoid direct sunlight and warm ambient temperatures. Kept in the original packaging, the figures keep for a long time and are ready to use whenever Christmas baking begins.
Three figures, one Christmas mood
The Christmas tree, the snowman and Santa Claus – together they are the heart of every Christmas decoration. With the 3D Christmas sugar figures they land directly on the cupcake, the cake and the dessert – three-dimensional, detailed and placed in seconds. Because Christmas sometimes lies in the smallest details – and three little sugar figures on the festive cake are exactly such a detail that makes the difference. So let Christmas come!
