Airbrush stencils

Airbrush stencils are great tools to create color art on cakes, fondants and smooth surfaces. With a little practice, you can also use the airbrush device without guidelines, but if you want to be sure that your patterns will be exact, we recommend you to try it first with our stencils. Our assortment contains a large variety of different motifs - whether for a birthday, Halloween party, baby shower or wedding, you're sure to find the right template here.

If you haven't worked with airbrush decoration before, it's a good idea to start with a straight fondant surface on which you can easily place your airbrush stencils. If possible, make sure that the stencil does not protrude over the edges of the cake, then it is easier to determine the desired position of the motif and you do not run the risk of unintentionally pushing in the edge of your baking. With a little routine, stenciling on the side of the cake will also be successful.

You can achieve a nice depth effect by applying the color sometimes opaque, sometimes translucent. Depending on how long you hold the spray head on a particular spot, the color becomes more intense or more delicate. To practice, you can also first place the stencil on a sheet of paper and try out how the color is best applied to the motif. The spray mist is extremely fine, so both sharp edges and soft transitions succeed very well with the airbrush technique. However, your work surface should be as free as possible from objects that you do not want to give a new coat of paint, otherwise the fine paint haze can also settle on them.

Our airbrush stencils are made of food-safe plastic, can be reused and are easily washable. They are flexible, but should not be stored rolled up, as the template then no longer lies smoothly and the motifs may appear distorted. Stowed flat, however, the stencils can be used for a long time.
