You either add the nuts in full size or chop them into small pieces. It's just a matter of taste, but any nut filling gives a praline that certain something. This sometimes surprising bite on a nut develops the full flavor on the palate. In addition, a good combination are marzipan chocolates with whole almonds.

Praline filling with fruits

Both candied and pickled fruits are an excellent way to give any praline a fruity note. Raisins and cherries in particular have proven themselves, and taste simply fantastic in combination with chocolate. But it doesn't always have to be a fruit with texture, jam is just as ideal for refining pralines.

Chocolates with alcohol

The chocolate industry recognized early on that the combination of chocolate and alcohol has a large following among praline lovers. If you make the chocolates yourself, it is important to make sure that you do not overdo it with the alcohol. It should not drown out the chocolate flavor in any case.
