What are colorful chocolate molds for?

Praline capsules offer the perfect blend of decoration and elegant appearance. Thanks to their shape, they act as a buffer between the individual molded chocolates and truffles. So if the box of chocolates is stored at an angle or transportation is a little bumpy, the chocolate treats won't knock against each other.

They are also the perfect decoration for your own delicacies. The chocolate capsules are available in brown, gold, silver, red, with a colorful pattern or with a beautiful glossy finish. So you are sure to find the right one for your creation. However, please always pay attention to the quantity, as there are boxes containing 25, 200 or 100 pieces. Their diameter can also vary by a few mm, so always choose carefully which product fits best.

What is the difference between chocolate capsules made of aluminum or paper?

In our store, you will find a large selection of paper molds as well as aluminum praline capsules. What they have in common is that they are used as praline molds for cut and shaped pralines and truffles. These are simply inserted after production and extensive cooling. Thanks to the greaseproof paper, they can also be used to insert confectionery with a marzipan base or a coating of grated coconut without leaving grease marks.

Aluminum praline capsules are also suitable for filling directly with solid ganache. They are very stable and give the mixture its shape while it sets. You can of course vary with different ingredients and combinations. For example, put a roasted hazelnut in the mold, fill it with a solid hazelnut ganache and finish with some dark couverture and a crispy pearl. There are no limits to your creativity here! For an even more special look, there are also aluminum cones. Just like the round and oval capsules, these can be filled with solid ganache. You can find out more in their description.

What types of chocolate packaging and packaging for confectionery are there?

Boxes with inlay

These attractive boxes are available in different colors and always have a glossy separation to prevent the delicacies inside from slipping or being damaged. They look even more elegant when they are placed in chocolate capsules. This provides additional stability and makes a real visual impact.

Boxes without division

Even without a divider, treats in paper cases and aluminum capsules are well protected and great to look at. Even long and large cut and piped chocolates fit easily into the box.

Chocolate boxes with viewing window or transparent lid

The finished chocolates are shown off to their best advantage when they are visible through the transparent lid of the box. At the same time, they are securely packaged and can be decorated with a beautiful bow to make the gift particularly elegant.

Cellophane bags for truffles

Delicious, round truffles are best presented in a cellophane bag. When they are mixed and stacked, they look particularly appealing and can be admired from all sides. The use of chocolate capsules is rather unusual here.

Confectionery packaging

Boxes that are usually used for cookies and other treats are also ideal for chocolate creations.

Cake boxes

Cake boxes are the ideal choice for larger or taller treats such as almond rochers, Bergspitz chocolates or sweet chocolate owls. These boxes are also very practical if a larger quantity of treats is to be given as a gift.

How do you package your own chocolates?

To get started with wrapping chocolates, first choose the right box and fold it up if necessary. Then the fun part really begins - the filling! We have a few tips for you to make this experience even better.
The rules for wrapping are similar to those for storing chocolate. Once you have finished making the truffles, cut and molded chocolates, they should be stored in a cool place for a longer shelf life, but not in the fridge. A cool, dry place such as a cellar is ideal. If they are to be given as gifts, make sure that they are stored in a place out of direct sunlight. Of course, they are best fresh!
It is important to pre-chill the chocolate well before packaging to prevent it from melting quickly due to body heat. So don't worry and have fun wrapping your chocolates!

If you are looking for an elegant box with a double layer, you are sure to find the right box in our range. Some boxes even come with a gold base. It is advisable to place this on the first layer of chocolates and place the second layer on top. This distributes the weight evenly and gives it a particularly high-quality look.
If the box of chocolates is already filled and there is still some space around the edges, you are welcome to fill it in. Otherwise the chocolates could slip or bump into each other during transportation, especially if there are no dividers. We recommend, for example, crumpling up some colored tissue paper and placing it around the edges. This way, your creations are protected and it also looks very attractive.

Despite all caution, a corner or edge of a praline may break off. Perhaps a piece has remained in the mold or an air hole is visible. But that's not a problem! Such small mistakes can be easily concealed. Take some tempered white couverture for dark chocolates and truffles and fill them into a paper cornet to decorate them. Fine chocolate strips can hide small holes effortlessly. If an air hole is well placed or the tips are not perfect, you can simply attach a pearl or something similar with some couverture. Glitter can work wonders if pieces of chocolate have chipped off. Spray it on with a pump sprayer or paint the affected area with a brush. The sparkling glitter gives your creation a glamorous finish and embellishes it with a glittering pattern. So don't worry, every little blemish can be easily fixed with a few creative tricks!
