Macaron course
Macarons are airy, delicious and simply irresistible! They come in many bright colours and countless flavours. So there's bound to be something for everyone. The possible combinations for making macarons are endless. The meringue, made of almond flour, has become an indispensable part of French confectionery. This delicious pastry also became well-known in Switzerland through similar variations from well-known confectioners.
What looks simple does not always mean simple work. Anyone who has ever tried their hand at macarons will certainly have noticed that they are not the easiest of pastries and that many different characteristics must be taken into account to achieve a super result.
In our course, you will learn about the different factors that need to be taken into account in order to create beautiful macarons with feet. Our professional course leaders will ensure that you go home with lots of valuable tips and tricks, lots of delicious homemade macarons and our recipe booklet.
In our course we focus on the exact recipe and production of the macarons. Each person makes their own macaron mixture, colours it with different colours and learns how to properly mould the macaron mixture. Afterwards, our course leader will show you various decoration options and nothing will stand in the way of your creativity. After decorating your macarons with blossoms, cocoa nibs, hearts, glitter and much more, you will make your own macaron mixture once again - practice makes perfect! Now you will learn how to make the macaron mixture with different flavour combinations and how to make sweet mini macarons that fit perfectly in your mouth with just one bite.
While the macaron shells go into the oven, our course leader shows you the different fillings and flavours that are possible. You will learn which buttercream is best suited as a macaron filling, how to make a dressable ganache and how to cook a fruity fruit jelly.
Then comes the best part - filling your ready-baked macaron shells. You can choose from the following flavours for the filling:
Vanilla
Mango
Hazelnut
Caramel
Pistachio
Champagne
Dark chocolate
and many different fruit jellies.
