Product description and application

Cast iron is the secret to first-class bread. It stores the heat evenly and releases it slowly, giving your bread a crispy crust and a moist interior. Whether rustic farmhouse bread, fluffy ciabatta or sweet yeast plait - this pot transforms any bread into a masterpiece. This cooking pot is a real all-rounder! It is not only suitable for baking bread, but also for braising, roasting and simmering - anything is possible. The lid closes tightly and retains the moisture inside so that your food stays juicy and tasty. A pot for every occasion that no kitchen should be without. It works on all types of stoves (including induction), in the oven and even on the grill. An all-rounder for your kitchen!

The pot can withstand temperatures of up to 250 °C and can be used on the hob and in the oven. The pot is suitable for induction, ceramic, gas and electric hobs. Before exposing the pot to high heat, you should preheat it for 5 minutes on a low heat. In addition, the empty pot should not be heated too much, as this can also lead to damage.

Easy handling & timeless design

Baking bread has never been so easy! The proofing basket ensures the perfect shape, while the pan does the rest. The classic design blends seamlessly into any kitchen and is an eye-catcher on the table. A timeless piece that will accompany you for many years.

Which pan is best for baking bread?

This cast-iron roasting pan has a high-quality enamel coating, which prevents sticking and makes it easier to clean. The pan is ideal for baking bread as it retains the heat evenly and ensures a crispy crust. It retains the moisture in the pan, keeping the bread soft and moist on the inside.

How big should a bread pan be?

This pan with a volume of 4.7 liters and a diameter of 26 cm is the perfect size for baking bread. It offers enough space for the dough to rise optimally and ensures an even crust and a moist interior.

Proofing basket with cover

This bread baking set includes a proofing basket with a diameter of 23 cm including a matching linen cover. The proofing basket gives the dough stability during the rising time. It also gives it a nice shape. Flour the proofing basket well before you put your dough in it. If you have a very liquid bread dough, you can place the cover in the basket first and then place your dough on top. This will prevent the dough from sticking to the basket. The proofing basket should never be washed with water, but only tapped out and cleaned with a dry brush if necessary.

Cleaning and care

Allow the product to cool completely after use before cleaning to prevent cracking due to sudden temperature changes. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents or metal brushes, as these could damage the protective layer.
Do not clean the product in the dishwasher as this may cause damage.

Not suitable for use in the microwave. Store the product in a dry place to prevent rusting. It is best to only use wooden, plastic or silicone cooking utensils in the pot, as these will not scratch the coating. This will keep the pot looking good for years to come.
