Embossing & Cookie Cutter Set Cacti, 2 pieces

Spending an afternoon in the bakery creating Guetzli is one of the best ideas for every weekend and certain specific occasions. It's especially fun when children's hands join in the kneading and cutting. All cookie cutters are made of sturdy material, so even children can cut and bake with them without any problems. The natural occurrence of cacti is limited to the American continents, but this cookie cutter may soon be at home in your bakery. If you want to create especially beautiful and colorful guetzli, you can then decorate or label the treats with colored icing or colored fondant. By cutting out fondant with the same cookie cutter, which you have used for the Guetzli, you get a matching fondant decoration and you will be easier to decorate.

Guetzli cutter - application

Perfect cookies

100 g sugar

200 g soft butter

1 egg

300 g flour

1/2 vanilla bean, scraped seeds

1 pinch salt

Beat the butter with the sugar until fluffy, add the egg and then stir in the remaining ingredients until you get a homogeneous dough. Wrap this dough in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, roll out to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out as many cookies as possible. Then easily detach the cookies and place them on a baking paper. Reassemble the remaining dough and roll out again. Bake the full tray at 170° C for 10 - 15 minutes.

Decorated Guetzli

Instead of eating your Guetzli right away, you can first give them a very special look by decorating them. To do this, mix an egg white icing (royal icing), for example. Divide it into smaller portions and color them differently. You can then use a cornet to give your cookies patterns and colors. You can also glue on sugar decorations or work with fondant. If you prefer it less sweet, you can also apply wonderful decorations with a little melted chocolate. In this way, each Guetzli becomes a small work of art.

Not only for cookie dough

Natural can also be used other masses than cookie dough. For decorations on cakes or cupcakes you can use different sugar masses or even modeling chocolate. These knead a little, as appropriate, and roll out very thinly on baker's starch. The made molds can also be decorated and finished with royal icing and sugar decorations, as described above. The molds can be attached directly to your creation with a little edible glue from the tube or dried and used later.
