Description

Chocolate Kiss Course

In our chocolate kiss workshop, we awaken childhood memories. Create your own delicious meringue kisses, Mohrenköpfe and Schwedenbomben and refine the treat, whatever you call it, with other ingredients to your heart's content.

After a warm welcome from our course leader, an experienced confectioner, all participants will be given an apron. Then it's off to the bakery and the ingredients.

The course leader will show you right at the beginning how to make the sweet meringue kisses. Then it's your turn, divided into groups, to make your own mousse from egg white and sugar. Then you will be filled into several piping bags and you can start piping the meringue onto the bases we have already prepared. You will notice that it is not that easy to pipe the chocolate kisses evenly, but practice makes perfect! Each participant makes their own 20 chocolate kisses. For a classic chocolate kiss, the foam mixture is moulded alone onto the biscuit base and covered with your favourite chocolate. For a particularly unusual creation, the little treats can also be prepared in different flavours and combined with the matching couverture.

Buttercream Cupcakes

Pimp your chocolate marshmallow! So that not every chocolate marshmallow tastes the same in the end, you can fill your carrot head individually with additional fillings in different flavours. To do this, take the crispy base, spread a thin layer of the foam and choose a delicious filling. Then you give the carrot head its sweet centre. For example, we offer you a delicate caramel as well as hazelnut and almond cream, and for the fruity version you can choose from raspberry, strawberry, passion fruit, mango, apricot, sour cherry, pineapple or mandarin jelly, depending on the season. Now cover the surprise filling with the remaining mousse.

After that, the ready-made foam kisses go into the refrigerator for a short time. Now it's time for a short break. After the break, our course leader will show you how to dip the moulded chocolate marshmallows into liquid chocolate and decorate them creatively. Decide for yourself which chocolate should be used to coat your chocolate kisses. You can choose between white, dark and milk couverture. With the help of various decorations such as coconut shavings, edible flowers, chocolate eyes or other colourful sprinkles, your chocolate marshmallows will become real masterpieces. Before the finished chocolate kisses are packed, they can of course be tasted and enjoyed. You will be delighted to discover that the chocolate kisses taste exactly as you would expect from real Moorish kisses: a fluffy sweet interior covered in crunchy chocolate and refined with a delicate heart of fruity jelly or smooth cream. In addition to the incomparable taste, these Mohrenköpfe offer another great advantage, because they are made from only the best ingredients and, in contrast to industrially produced meringue kisses, do not contain any artificial stabilisers, flavourings or preservatives. Finally, the homemade chocolate marshmallows are safely packaged, and each participant also receives a carrier bag (or a cool bag in warm weather) to ensure safe transport home without any melted treats. At the end of the chocolate kiss course, each participant receives a detailed recipe booklet (over 50 pages) with the exact step-by-step instructions and recipes to take home. These homemade chocolate kisses will put any store-bought marshmallow to shame!

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

Unfortunately, illness, accidents and other unforeseeable situations are part of our everyday lives. As our courses require fixed planning, we calculate and plan material for every registered participant. Changes to bookings and cancellations therefore result in a lot of extra work and lost opportunities for other course participants. In order to remain fair to everyone, we strictly adhere to the information listed below. However, it is important to us as a company to offer you options for unforeseeable situations in order to avoid high costs, which is possible via the Basic participation option or cancellation insurance.

All registrations for our courses are binding. The invoice must be settled by the day of the course, taking into account the payment deadline or in the case of bookings at short notice. Further details can be found in the terms and conditions at minischoggi.ch. miniSchoggi reserves the right to cancel courses due to insufficient demand and without giving further reasons up to 5 days before the start of the course. In such a case, the participant has the option of taking part in another course or reclaiming any payments already made in full.

Courses that take place on site

If you are unable to attend a course or no longer wish to participate, a distinction is made between rebooking to another date and cancellation. Please note that a course booking can never be rebooked or cancelled free of charge without purchasing the Basic participation option. Further details on the recommended Basic participation option can be found in the relevant section. You have the option of transferring your booked place to another person at any time.

Rebooking: Participants may rebook their course participation up to 30 days before the start of the course, subject to a processing fee of CHF 20. If the participant rebooks the course at a later date, 50% of the course fee will be charged. Rebooking later than 48 hours before the start of the course is not possible and will be charged as a cancellation. The fee applies per booked course place.

Cancellation: Cancellation of course participation by the participant is possible up to 30 days before the start of the course, whereby a processing fee of CHF 50 will be charged. Thereafter, the participant is no longer entitled to a place on the course. If the participant cancels the course at a later date or does not turn up on the day of the course, 100% of the course fee will be charged. The fee applies per course place.

What happens in the event of illness or an accident if I do NOT have a Basic participation option?

Unfortunately, situations arise in life that make it impossible to attend a planned course. Be it a sudden illness, severe flu or even an accident. We at miniSchoggi very much regret such an event, as we would of course prefer to welcome all those registered to the course.

However, the course costs are still due in all situations because we are usually unable to sell the booked place in the extremely short time until the start of the course and have already incurred various costs in connection with the booking and course preparation. Even with the best will in the world, we cannot bear these individual risk costs of a single person ourselves. We therefore recommend booking a voluntary Basic participation option. Thank you for your understanding.

Basic participation option for course booking

The Basic participation option for courses is the ideal supplement to course bookings and should not be omitted. This way you can ensure that even in the event of many unforeseen incidents such as illness, accident, corona infection, death or funeral of a family member, pregnancy complications, etc. (exact list and details below in the link), course participation on a later date is possible at no additional cost.

The Basic participation option is not compulsory and can be purchased voluntarily together with the course. If you do not purchase it, the normal course and cancellation conditions apply. You can find more information about the participation option at www.minischoggi.ch/gb/participation-options

Please note that external costs (hotel accommodation, travel costs, etc.) are never covered by the Basic participation option. To cover these costs, we recommend taking out cancellation insurance, which usually has certain overlaps with the Basic participation option, but often includes deductibles or major restrictions. Depending on the insurance, however, external costs may already be included in your travel insurance. You can find more information on cancellation insurance at: www.minischoggi.ch/insurance

Questions? We are here for you!

Do you have any questions or is something not clear? Then we will be happy to help you by phone on 044 480 14 14 or by e-mail at info@minischoggi.ch.

Please note, however, that we cannot make any further recommendations regarding insurance or existing private insurance policies. Each person must decide for themselves what risk they wish to take and what it is worth to them. Thank you for your understanding.

We look forward to welcoming you to the course soon! Your miniSchoggi team
