A plastic sheet that makes it easier to make your cake. The cake insert strip is the ideal aid for cake rings. The cake strips are indispensable when making your own fine cream cakes or cream pies.
The cake ring prevents the cake icing from running down the edge. The cake insert strip is the ideal complement to the cake rings. It allows you to create beautiful cakes with a perfect edge. You can also use the strips to make beautiful chocolate decorations.

Simple but effective - The deployment strip

Place a cake insert strip cut to the appropriate length in the cake ring and push it all the way out. For a special shape, such as a heart, insert the cake insert strip so that one end is directly at the top of the shape. At the top of the heart, you can then fold the plastic strip once. The ends of the cut insert strip should overlap slightly. After baking the bottoms and making the fillings, you can start layering. Do not use the final pie plate for this. Instead, use thin cake layers. We recommend that you use a small cardboard base that is 1-2 cm smaller than your cake. To do this, you should place a slightly larger cake base under the small base. This will help you lift the cake and place it on the final cake plate. Put one of the sponge slices back in or make a delicious crispy base. You can then place your favorite filling on top. You can also use thick ingredients, such as caramel or a cake jelly for fresh fruit, without any problems, since the cake ring prevents the filling from running out.
Place the finished cake with the ring in the refrigerator or freezer. Once the cake has set, the cake ring can be easily removed thanks to the insert strip and used for the next cake. The insert strip not only makes it easier for you to remove the ring, but also creates a pretty smooth cake that can be served immediately. The strip should only be used once. Try it yourself and convince yourself of the excellent quality of your cake.
Now you can finish the cake directly with beautiful topper decorations or still cover it. The smooth edge is ideal for frosting with various masses, you create a very special coating with Mirror Glaze. When using all glazes, make sure that there are really no holes in the edge of your cake. This will also make the coating wonderfully smooth.
For special effects, you can also use the cake insert strip to insert a thin roulade strip. This strip can be decorated with a fine pattern using our roulade mats. This way, your cake is already perfectly decorated when you take it out of the ring.
