Description

Bread bag beige

Keeping bread fresh for a long time has been a desire ever since people first tried baking. This was even more important in the past, as ovens were an expensive affair in the Middle Ages and only in larger villages was there a village oven in which every family baked their bread. While in some areas bread was baked three to four times a month, in smaller villages, for example in Valais, fresh bread was only available two to three times a year. On the days when the oven was fired up, each family baked bread for half a year.

If the bread was slowly running out, it was usually already hard as a rock. It was not uncommon for someone to cut up their bread with an axe, after which the pieces or slices were soaked in soup or wine until they could be chewed again.

It doesn't come to that nowadays, bread is always accessible and affordable. Nevertheless, keeping it fresh for longer is always desirable. This is no problem with this bread bag. Thanks to the material, the bread stays as fresh as the day it was baked for a long time.

Simply place the bread in the top of the bag and pull the straps closed. You can then place the bread in the bread cupboard or hang it up by the straps. You can then leave the bag hanging up straight away, there is a zipper on the side of the bag through which you can easily remove the bread.

This elegant bread bag keeps your bread fresh for a long time and is also elegantly packaged. The bag can also accompany you directly to the bakery or supermarket, so you can also save on packaging material.
