Creative puzzle cookie cutter set, 6 pieces
Spending an afternoon in the bakery creating biscuits is one of the best ideas for any weekend. It's especially fun when children's hands can knead, cut and think along with you. All the cutters are made of robust material so that children can cut and bake with them without any problems. Now the delicious biscuits are the most important element of this game of patience. As with the old Chinese laying game Tangram, the aim of this game is to recreate the geometric biscuits as quickly as possible as shown in the illustrations.
Cookie cutter - Application
Perfect cookies
100 g sugar
200 g soft butter
1 egg
300 g flour
1/2 vanilla pod, scraped out seeds
1 pinch of salt
Beat the butter with the sugar until fluffy, add the egg and then stir in the remaining ingredients until you have a homogeneous dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and place in the fridge overnight. The next day, roll out to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out as many cookies as possible. Then simply detach the cookies and place them on baking paper. Reassemble the remaining dough and roll out again. Bake the whole tray at 170° C for 10 - 15 minutes.
Decorated biscuits
Instead of eating your biscuits as they are, you can first give them a very special look by decorating them. To do this, mix a royal icing, for example. Divide this into smaller portions and color them differently. You can then use a cornet to add patterns and colors to your cookies. You can also stick on sugar decorations or work with fondant. Cutting out fondant with the same cutter you used for the biscuits will give you a matching fondant decoration and make decorating easier. If you prefer it less sweet, you can also add wonderful decorations with a little melted chocolate. This turns every biscuit into a little work of art.
Cleaning
Clean the cookie cutters thoroughly by hand with warm water before the first use and after each use.
