Sugar icing metallic silver, 65 g

Fondant cake icing is not only suitable for enhancing cakes and cupcakes, but also donuts, cupcakes, cake pops and even éclairs can be covered and decorated with it. Such a coating is made in no time, because the glaze only needs to be mixed with water and it is ready for use. This is how you give all your treats a noble metallic shine.

Sugar glaze - application

To begin, make a treat of your choice. This can be a classic cake, a cake or a cupcake, but you can of course also coat another treat. For example, if you want to give your éclairs a classy, colorful shine or create extraordinary donuts, this glaze is perfect. Due to the ease of use, the powder is also super for a children's birthday party, where the children may decorate their own cake pops or cupcakes, for example.

Put a smaller or larger amount of powder in a bowl, depending on the size. You can also mix it with some royal icing powder to create a larger and less intensely colored icing. Then add a little water, depending on the amount, and mix. Then continue adding water drop by drop until the right consistency is reached. Leave the glaze like this for about 20 minutes, you can stir gently from time to time.

The easiest way to frost a cake, Gugelhopf or Cake is to place it on a baking paper with a grid and pour the frosting over it. This way it drips off nicely and further decorations can be placed on it.

Cake Pops, Guetzli, Cupcakes and Eclairs can be applied with the help of a spoon or a brush. It looks especially great when you create a two-color decoration. To do this, take a cornet paper, roll it up and add a second color of icing. Alternatively, you can also use a piping bag. So now thin stripes or small dots and patterns are sprayed on.

On the fresh icing you can also stick other things, for example, give some sugar beads, fondant decorations, gummy bears or Smarties on it. For a child's birthday cake, you can also put play figures on it to create a small motif cake. For a particularly elegant cake border, you can attach a Cake Lace ribbon to the fondant cake icing. After just a short time, the icing dries, sets and shines beautifully. This is how easy it is to finish your treats!
