The skin on which to paint should be clean and dry. The soft pencils can then be used to paint on as desired. For a gradient or a slight mixing of the colors, you can rub your finger lightly over the applied color to spread it. Test the skin compatibility before applying the paint. The color is very tolerable, but if you do experience a skin rash, it could be an allergy. In this case, consult a doctor immediately.

The color is pleasantly soft, but can melt in the sun, so you should avoid direct sunlight. The colors can be used on the face without any problems, but it should not come into direct contact with the eyes or lips. For the same reason, an adult should always be present when children are doing their own or each other's makeup. The colors hold very well, but some of them can rub off a little.
