Silicone mold financier conical 9.5 x 4.5 cm, 7 pieces
Silicone molds are suitable for many different treats, because they can be easily baked and frozen, because they are soft and movable, the finished products can not simply stick in them. For example, you can create pre-shaped, multi-layered ice cream balls, cream desserts with a delicate center, delicious protein bars or tasty little cakes. The surface is still beautifully smooth after shaping and can thus be excellently coated with couverture, chocolate icing or mirror glaze. Fresh berries, small sugar decorations or chocolate sprinkles complete the decoration.
Silicone mold Financier - Application
Find a recipe for a dessert or a salty treat and lay out the necessary ingredients and utensils. The silicone mold is suitable for all sorts of things, in addition to ice cream, solid cream and cake, you can also shape a tureen or sticky rice. The most impressive treats are those that are layered or have a delicious center inside.
If you want to make a layered treat, for example, prepare the individual parts one after the other and put them in from top to bottom. For a small ice cream bomb, for example, put some strawberry, then some vanilla and finally some chocolate ice cream into the mold. More exotic mixes like passion fruit, coconut and chocolate also taste great. If you prefer something salty, you can put in some sticky rice, for example, then a few slices of avocado or a vegetable of your choice, and finally a thin piece of toast. Depending on the type of food, put the filled mold in the freezer, so it's easier to unmold the whole thing afterwards.
Desserts with a core are particularly practical to coat, and salty things also look great when there's a surprise hiding inside. For the salty version, for example, press in some sticky rice and form a large hollow in the middle. You can also press in a thin cake batter and pre-bake it. Then fill the center with ingredients of your choice. For example, put chopped vegetables or a tasty thon filling, the important thing here is that the filling is not very soft or watery. Finally, put a base of bread, rice, baked dough or a slice of vegetable, for example, beet on top. For a dessert, proceed in the same way, but choose a cream that will subsequently solidify for the shell, a ganache, some caramel or a mousse for the center and a sponge cake slice for the bottom. After freezing, the treat can be shaped and enjoyed like this.
Chocolate, cereal or protein bars, small cakes and even lava cakes can also be made in this mold. The mold does not need to be greased, the dough is simply poured in and baked. After cooling, simply invert the individual cavities, and the cakes and bars will come out easily. For a liquid center, press a few pieces of couverture into the center just before the lava cake batter finishes baking.
Silicone molds are easy to clean in the dishwasher, making baking, filling and unmolding even more fun.
