Chocolate fondue set
Everyone loves a delicious chocolate fondue. Fruit and nuts as well as cookie cubes and marshmallows go perfectly with the smooth chocolate. Brittle sprinkles or coconut flakes can also be added to sprinkle over the dipped treats.
Chocolate fondue set - Application
For a perfect chocolate fondue, the chocolate must be melted carefully. If it is too warm, it will burn and form small grains. Put enough couverture drops in the caquelon. You need about 70 to 100 g per person. Now place the caquelon over a bain-marie and heat the chocolate while stirring until it is nice and liquid. A little cream can also be added if required. The couverture can also be melted in the microwave. To do this, always set short times and then stir a little again.
Now all that's missing are delicious ingredients for dipping. Various fruits are of course particularly popular. Apple and banana pieces as well as strawberries are particularly popular, but if you prefer something more exotic, you can also cut up a kiwi, pineapple, cherries, oranges or some melon. Physalis, peach, mango or grapes also go well with chocolate.
For a change, you can also dip a few nuts, cookie cubes, marshmallows or cookies. With so much choice, everyone will find their perfect dessert!
