If you want to create your own chocolates, cast noble chocolate bars or make a dessert with an unusual shape, the thermoformer is the perfect helper. From concrete, a special powder, stone, clay or even a potato, you make a model that suits your needs. Then you just need to prepare the device and insert the foil, and you're ready to go. In no time at all you will be holding your own mold in your hands. You can now fill it with a wide variety of materials, then simply remove them again and your dream product is ready. For example, you can also create your own chocolate boxes and subdivisions in which you can present and sell your self-designed chocolates.

To begin, think about a project - do you want to make your own chocolates, chocolate bars, patisseries, boxes of chocolates, or something else, like soap or small concrete figurines? Then choose or sketch the appropriate mold for it. Now you need to make a model of it. If you already have a suitable mold that you want to duplicate, you can fill it with the powder mixed with water that comes with it and let it dry that way. You can also use the insert of a chocolate box as a model. From clay or a potato you also make a mold in no time. You can also use slightly harder objects such as stones, shells or hard fruits. Pre-printing the model with a 3D printer is also very popular.

Then prepare the device for use. Plug in the two plugs and connect a vacuum cleaner of at least 2000 watts with the help of the black vacuum hose. Then on the front set the temperature and time, with this slide switch the temperature to level 5 and the time to two minutes. By folding up the handles, the upper frame can be moved up and locked there. Then pull off the protective film of the plastic sheet, put it in the bottom and fix it with the upper frame. As soon as the light of the temperature display is permanently green, you can move the two frames with the foil upwards and press the start button for the time measurement.

The foil is now heated from above, while you can arrange your models appropriately on the free surface. The foil starts to curl a little, as soon as it becomes a little wavy at the edge, you can quickly pull it down and over the models with the help of the frames. The vacuum cleaner turns on, the foil takes the desired shape and cools down. The shape is perfectly adapted to the model, even details as small as a grain of sand can still be seen. After a few seconds, you can loosen the upper frame and remove the foil with the model. If you don't need it anymore, switch the temperature level to 0. With a light pressure on the side of the mold, you release the model from the foil. You already have your first own mold!

The film can now be further processed or used directly, depending on the application. You can cut off excess foil with a cutter. The 0.5 mm thick white foil (temperature: 5, duration: 2 min - 2 min 20 s) can be painted without any problems and is perfect, for example, for making the divider insert for a box of chocolates or a painted mask. Use the 0.5 mm thick transparent film (temperature: 5, duration: 2 min - 2 min 20 s) to create smaller shapes for different materials. If you plan to cast heavier things or want to press a mass into it, we recommend the 1 mm thick transparent foil (temperature: 6, duration: 1 min - 1 min 20 s) for additional stability.
