Guetzli stamp Happy Birthday
Use this Guetzli stamp to emboss a sweet congratulations in Guetzli dough, marzipan or fondant. If the finished Guetzli come out of the oven, you can decorate them additionally with chocolate or royal icing. Cleaning is also very easy thanks to the removable silicone attachment.
Guetzli stamp - application
Embossed cookies
100 g sugar
200 g soft butter
1 egg
300 g flour
1/2 vanilla bean, scraped seeds
1 pinch salt
Beat the butter with the sugar until fluffy, add the egg and then stir in the remaining ingredients until you get a homogeneous dough. Wrap this dough in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm and take the stamp to hand. Press it only briefly but firmly into the dough. Take it out again, so the embossing should be about 3 mm deep. Then you can choose a suitable cookie cutter, cut out individual cookies and set them on a baking paper. Reassemble the remaining dough and roll out again. Bake the full tray at 170 ° C for 10 - 15 minutes.
Ornament
Instead of giving and eating your Guetzli right away, you can first give them a very special look by decorating them. To do this, mix an egg white icing (royal icing), for example. If you wish, you can also divide this into smaller portions and color them differently. You can then use a cornet paper to trace the embossing on the cookie or add other small decorations around it. You can also glue on sugar decorations or work with fondant. If you prefer it less sweet, you can also apply wonderful decorations with a little melted chocolate. This way, each Guetzli becomes a little work of art.
Cupcakes and cakes
Of course, masses other than cookie dough can be used. For decorations on cakes or cupcakes, for example, you can use marzipan, fondant or even modeling chocolate. Depending on the case, knead these a little and roll out very thinly on baker's starch. The made molds can also be decorated and finished with royal icing and sugar decorations as described above. The molds can be attached directly to your creation with a little edible glue from the tube or dried and used later.
Cleaning
Of course, it happens from time to time that some dough or sugar mass sticks in the stamp or that it is finally full of flour. The wooden part of the stamp can only be dusted briefly or rinsed with a little water. The silicone top can be easily removed and washed individually. You can also put this in the dishwasher without any problems.
