Application and properties

Before you fill the cake dough into the mold, it must be well greased with butter and floured. Then simply fill the dough and bake. Thanks to the lifting base and the non-stick coating, your creations can be easily removed from the mold. The mold is heat resistant up to 220 degrees.

Cleaning

The non-stick baking pan is not dishwasher safe! Please clean the mold by hand with mild detergent and dry immediately. Do not clean the surface with sharp objects or a scraper sponge.

What is an angel food cake?

This mold is specially made for angel food cake. Angel cake is an airy cake that is baked without butter. They say angels can eat the cake and still fly because it is so light and fluffy. That's where the name angel food cake comes from. The white sponge cake is prepared from stiff egg whites, flour, sugar and some whipping aid like cream of tartar. The hole in the center is there for the heat to be evenly distributed and thus the sponge cake is baked evenly. The angel food cake can be decorated with different icings and berries.
