Silicone mat black, 52 x 31.5 cm
A silicone mat is suitable for baking, freezing and rolling out various masses. The silicone has a non-stick effect, so dough and modeling masses easily detach from the base. The mat is non-slip and ovenproof and can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.

Silicone mat black, 52 x 31.5 cm
With a silicone mat, all your creations will succeed. Due to its temperature resistance from -40 °C to +280 °C and the optimal heat distribution, the mat is suitable, for example, as a baking mat and can then be placed in the freezer with the pastries. Such a silicone mat can also be used for rolling out cookie dough and fondant or for pouring caramel, because the surface properties prevent the masses from sticking together. However, for cutting the masses are better placed on a cutting board.
Silicone mat - use
A silicone mat is perfect for rolling out dough and modeling clay. It is best to make the dough the day before and place it in the refrigerator overnight. Then, depending on the recipe, knead the dough again briefly or roll it out immediately. Dust the silicone mat with a little flour. Knead the fondant, marzipan and other modeling masses well and then roll them out on the silicone mat sprinkled with a little baker's starch. This way you can also cut out different shapes right away and place them on a baking paper or on the edge of the silicone mat.
The silicone mat can also be used for baking. Place your cut-out cookies, a ready-made loaf of bread, smaller rolls or cookies on the mat and put it in the preheated oven with the help of a baking tray. The mat distributes the heat evenly, but you will get the best baking results with a perforated tray or a grid.
The finished treats can then be frozen immediately with the mat. When laid out, they freeze faster and do not stick to each other. After about two hours, you can remove the frozen food from the mat and place it in a freezer bag or an airtight box, so it can be stored in the freezer for a particularly long time.
Once the rolls are baked, the flowers modeled, the cake covered and the cookies cut out, the silicone mat can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. Thus, it is not only a practical helper for all your creations but also quickly washed.
