Embossing and cookie cutter set knight and sword, 2 pieces

Spending an afternoon in the bakery creating biscuits is one of the best ideas for every weekend and certain specific occasions. It's especially fun when children's hands join in the kneading and cutting. All cookie cutters are made of a robust material so that children can cut and bake with them without any problems. This makes these cutters perfect for children's birthday parties or fairytale occasions. If you want to create particularly beautiful and colorful biscuits, you can then decorate the treats with colored icing or colored fondant. By cutting out the fondant with the same cutter you used for the biscuits, you get a matching fondant decoration and decorating is made easier. Here too, decorating is particularly fun if the children are allowed to help.

Cookie cutter with embosser - Application

Perfect cookies

100 g sugar

200 g soft butter

1 egg

300 g flour

1/2 vanilla pod, scraped out seeds

1 pinch of salt

Beat the butter with the sugar until fluffy, add the egg and then stir in the remaining ingredients until you have a homogeneous dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and place in the fridge overnight. The next day, roll out to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out as many cookies as possible. The embossing will be visible as you cut them out. Then simply detach the cookies and place them on baking paper. Reassemble the remaining dough and roll out again. Bake the whole tray at 170° C for 10 - 15 minutes.

Decorated biscuits

Instead of eating your biscuits as they are, you can first give them a very special look by decorating them. To do this, mix a royal icing, for example. Divide this into smaller portions and color them differently. You can then use a cornet to add patterns and colors to your cookies. You can also stick on sugar decorations or work with fondant. If you prefer something less sweet, you can also add wonderful decorations with a little melted chocolate. This turns every biscuit into a little work of art.

Not just for cookie dough

Of course, other batters can also be used as cookie dough. For decorations on cakes or cupcakes, you can use various sugar masses or even modeling chocolate. Knead these a little and roll them out very thinly on baking starch. As described above, you can also decorate and embellish the shapes you have made with royal icing and sugar decorations. The shapes can be attached directly to your creation with a little edible glue from the tube or dried and used later.

The perfect embosser and cutter

With this embossing and cutter set, you can create lots of great biscuits in the shape of knights and swords. After a long afternoon of baking delicious cookies, the cutter can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. The cutter is very robust and will be with you for a long time as you bake delicious and pretty cookies.
