Beautiful and delicious decorations are time-consuming? - Not anymore!

A delicious meal has already been cooked, but something is missing. Tired of edible flowers or the balsamic vinegar rim? We'll show you how to make beautiful, edible decorations. You usually already have everything you need at home anyway. In addition to the silicone mold, you will need the following:
100g egg white
50g butter
80g flour
Lemon zest (to taste)
5-10 g beet powder (replaces 5g flour)
ProGel food coloring (add dab wisely)

Here's how:
Preheat the oven to 150 degrees for fan oven or 170 degrees for top/bottom heat. The butter should be at room temperature when it is used. First, mix all the ingredients together until you have a creamy, liquid consistency. You should be able to spread the mixture easily. Now pour the mixture into the silicone mold and use an angled spatula to remove the excess mixture until the motifs are filled. Now the Hüppen can be placed in the oven and baked for 5-7 minutes. Even if it is difficult, allow the motifs to cool well before removing them from the mold. This will prevent the motifs from breaking. If you want to shape the motifs, you can of course carefully remove them from the mold and place them in a baguette tray or a bowl, for example. The motifs need at least an hour to dry so that they take on their shape. It is best to leave them overnight so that the motifs are sure to be bombproof. These motifs are guaranteed to be an eye-catcher on your delicious food.

Also suitable as a sweet variant.

Whether on ice cream, mousse cupcakes or on a cake. These motifs can also be baked as a sweet version. You will need:
100g egg white
50g butter
80g flour
50g sugar
5g cocoa powder, or 5-10g fruit powder (replaces 5g flour)
ProGel food coloring (add a dab at a time)

The preparation is identical to the savory version.

Soups, salads, main courses and desserts look even more delicious with these decorative elements. Try it out!

What I need to consider when cleaning and caring for silicone molds

Before use, you should place your silicone mold in a warm water bath with a little washing-up liquid. Although this is not necessary, it will contribute to the longevity of your silicone mold. The warm water with washing-up liquid closes the pores of the silicone surface better. This keeps the material flexible for longer and you can enjoy your baking silicone molds for longer. After the silicone mold has been in the water bath for 5-10 minutes, you can now place the mold on a kitchen towel to drain. Try not to rub the baking mold dry with the kitchen towel. Silicone is a very good lint catcher. This means that your silicone mold may become covered in lint if you dry it with the kitchen towel. As soon as the mold is dry, you can use it straight away. Additional greasing is not necessary.
After you have baked delicious cakes or frozen ice cream, you can simply put the silicone mold in the dishwasher. Many baking tins should not be put in the dishwasher as the non-stick coating could be washed off by the detergent solution. This is not the case with silicone. Depending on how often you use the silicone mold, we recommend that you clean your silicone mold 1-2 times a year. To do this, place the silicone mold in the middle of your oven at 200 degrees top/bottom heat for 4 hours. The heat ensures that certain substances in the silicone baking mold volatilize. From time to time, a white layer or white dots may form on the silicone mold. This happens particularly often if you have not used the silicone mold for a long time. Simply place the mold in a water bath with washing-up liquid. This will remove the greasy film from the silicone mold. Thanks to the flexibility of the material, you can fold up silicone molds and store them in a space-saving way. Don't worry! The silicone mold will always return to its original shape, even after folding or bending. Say goodbye to bulky metal baking molds!

Silicone molds are the all-rounders in your kitchen

Baking silicone molds are durable, unbreakable and inexpensive. 3D silicone molds are perfect alternatives to classic metal baking molds. The best-known baking tins are usually made of aluminum or sheet metal, which are bulky. Metal baking tins take up a lot of space, especially in smaller kitchens. Most metal baking tins must not be put in the dishwasher, as otherwise the non-stick coating can be washed off. With silicone baking tins, such problems are a thing of the past. Silicone baking tins are cold and heat resistant from -40 to 250 degrees. This means that silicone baking molds can be frozen, baked and cleaned in the dishwasher. There are various small silicone molds, but also large silicone baking molds. You can make cake bases, donuts, muffins or cake pops, but also ice cubes, confectionery, mousse or ice cream. Attention: even if the silicone mold seems perfect, silicone still gets hot in the oven. Therefore always Oven gloves and allow the silicone mold to cool well. Unlike metal baking tins, silicone tins cool down more quickly. This saves you time and you can process your production more quickly. Compared to rubber, silicone is inexpensive and resistant to chemicals and fungi. This makes silicone a very hygienic kitchen aid. Thanks to the surface, all masses can be released or toppled by bending and pulling the mold. Although silicone is splinter and break resistant, it is not resistant to knives or other sharp objects. Therefore, only use plastic or silicone cutlery for this silicone mold.
