Cake Lace Mix white, 200 g
A white border goes well with any base, whether yellow Mirror Glaze, dark chocolate or a pale pink fondant. Mix up as much Cake Lace as you need and keep the remaining powder for another time.
Cake Lace Mix - Application
Cake Lace are suitable for decorating cakes and patisserie. To prepare 100g of Cake Lace mass, please proceed as follows: Pour 56 ml of water into a blender. Add 4 tablespoons of Cake Lace Mix (about 42 grams). Blend for about two minutes. Add about a teaspoon of Cake Lace Glue again (about 3 grams) and blend for an additional 5-10 minutes. The liquid Cake Lace mixture should look perfectly smooth and homogeneous.
At this point, you also have the option of providing a little color. A small dab of ProGel color is enough to create an intense coloring. Be sure to use only gel colors, powder or liquid colors could change the consistency and lead to a qualitative difference in baking.
To make the Cake Lace decoration, you can spread the liquid Cake Lace mixture into the Cake Lace silicone mold using a spatula. Make sure that the cavities are nicely filled. Leave the Cake Lace mixture to dry out in the room for 6 to 8 hours or place it in the oven for approx. 10-15 minutes (convection oven at approx. 80° C) so that the Cake Lace mixture dries out and becomes firmer. Then carefully remove the decoration and stick it to the desired position of your creation.
If you have any liquid Cake Lace left over, you can store it in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Ready dried Cake Lace decorations can be stored for several weeks in a cool and dry place in a sealed and airtight box.
