Christmas tree and snowflake cookie cutters bring a wintry feel to the biscuit tin, whether plain or decorated with icing. In this category you will find over 30 cutters shaped as fir trees, snowflakes and ice crystals, from mini to large, individually and in sets.

Which Christmas tree and snowflake cutters do we stock?

  • Christmas trees: mini, small and large, small and large also with a star, 4 and 8.5 cm, a 9 x 9.5 cm fir, snow-covered in 6 and 8 cm, curved, in a ring (mini and fluted), with stars and baubles and with a wooden embosser.
  • Snowflakes and ice crystals: 8 cm and large snowflakes, ice crystals in 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 cm, a detailed ice crystal and one with a face, a set of 3 ice flakes and three different 3-piece snowflake sets, one with mini snowflakes.
  • Plunger cutters: Christmas tree and snowflake (2 pieces) with a plunger that pushes the dough out cleanly.
  • Sets and 3D: Christmas tree & snowman, Christmas tree and winter boot, and the 10-piece Wilton 3D Christmas tree set.

Tips from our bakery

Snowflakes and ice crystals have fine arms that break easily. Cut them from well-chilled dough, lift them onto the tray with a palette knife and bake them a little shorter so the edges stay pale. For the 3D tree, cut the pieces in decreasing sizes and stack them with a little icing once baked – a lovely table decoration. When baking with children, compact shapes such as the small or large tree are easier than delicate ice crystals. More shapes with a plunger: our plunger cutters.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get a fine ice crystal out of the cutter cleanly?

Dip the cutter in flour before each cut and tap off the excess. If the dough sticks, it is too warm: ten minutes in the fridge and it will work again. Or simply use the snowflake plunger cutter.

Which dough suits trees and snowflakes?

A shortcrust that hardly rises in the oven, such as the dough for Mailänderli, the Swiss butter biscuits. White icing or a dusting of icing sugar turns the trees snowy and makes the snowflakes sparkle. Also worth a look: our star cookie cutters and all our Christmas cookie cutters.
