Set of 3 large roses cookie cutter
You want to decorate your cake with beautiful roses? A beautiful, elegant cake decoration is needed, but there is not much time? The cutters are perfect for simple, yet elegant decorations. The different cookie cutter sizes allow you to create different sized flowers.
This set includes a total of 3 pretty rose petal shapes in different sizes (57 mm, 65 mm, 75 mm). The cookie cutter set is particularly suitable for decorating cakes, cupcakes or cake pops with flower bouquets or flower arrangements. The sweet rose petals are formed from fondant, Massa Ticino, flower paste or marzipan and serve as a pretty decoration. For a classy yet simple cake decoration, our cookie cutters are the ideal tool.
Cookie cutter - Application
Choose a mass from which you want to cut out the flowers afterwards. You can use marzipan or flower paste, but fondant, Massa Ticino and modeling chocolate are also suitable. Depending on the mass, use a different base. For sugar masses, a little baker's starch will keep them from sticking to the work surface. A silicone mat is also a good choice.
Now roll out the mass thinly. It should not be too thick, otherwise the flowers will look too coarse, but if they are too thin, they may crack later. If you are satisfied with the thickness, you can cut out the shapes with light pressure. You can now work on the cut-out shape with a modeling tool. Nice thin leaf edges and a slight curvature of each leaf should be the result. Then they can carefully roll up the smallest shape. Around this core you now place the next larger form. Depending on the size, the use of an edible food glue may be useful. Repeat this step as often as you like. If the flower is big enough, you can roll up the leaves slightly at the edge. Then it can be dried or placed directly.
The individual flowers can also be further decorated. With an airbrush, noble color gradients are created. With powder colors, you can, for example, color the outermost edge a little darker. This makes the flower look more real. With a dot of royal icing on the edge of a petal, you can attach a butterfly made of the same mass, edible paper or sugar.
The possibilities are endless, with these simple cutters you will succeed many different pretty and noble decorations. Enjoy the simplicity and decorate your creation with sweet roses!
The cookie cutters are ideally used for cutting out sweet decorations from thin flower paste or marzipan. In addition, you can trace the decorations with food coloring or egg white icing. For example, you can incorporate different shades into a leaf or create leaves beautiful color overlays.
To use the cutter correctly, first roll out the sugar mass, rolled fondant, marzipan or flower paste thinly. A silicone mat or baker's starch is suitable as a base to prevent the mass from sticking to the work surface. Then press the cutter onto the mass and apply light pressure, as when cutting out cookies. For a particularly beautiful result, finish with modeling tools. In this way, you are guaranteed to succeed in creating a magical motif cake.
