Spitzbuben cookie cutter set wavy, 4 cm
With these sweet cookie cutters you create perfect Spitzbuben in various combinations. The corrugated outer ring can be used individually or with one of the three inserts. So you cut out not only the bottom of the Spitzbub but also three different lids at the same time. Whether it's a check, heart or circle, with these pretty shapes the Spitzbub tastes just that little bit better.

Spitzbuben cookie cutter set wavy, 4 cm
Spending an afternoon in the bakery creating sweet Guetzli is one of the best ideas for any weekend. Especially with the Spitzbuben it looks great when the holes in the lid or even the outer shape look different. Who now thinks, for this you need a plethora of cookie cutters, you are wrong, because with this cookie cutter set you create three different types of Spitzbuben at once. The cookie cutter is made of food-safe plastic and can be rinsed by hand.
Spitzbuben cookie cutter set - Application
Prepare a delicious Spitzbuben dough. This can be rolled out very thinly and is therefore ideal for double cookies with a filling in between. Put the dough in the refrigerator overnight, so you get a nice firm dough. If you use it directly, the butter in the dough may still be very soft and the Spitzbuben will warp and keep sticking and tearing.
The next day you can then take the dough out of the refrigerator and let it stand briefly. Then cut it into pieces or slices, so it is easier to roll out. Use a rolling mat as a base or put enough flour on your work surface. Then, using rolling pins, roll out the pointed jack dough to 1 to 2 mm. Then take your cookie cutter to hand. Cut out a few bottoms, using the outer ring alone for this purpose. Put them on a baking tray when it is full, so you can bake it right away for a short time or refrigerate it.
On a second tray you now place the lids of the Spitzbuben ready. To do this, select one of the inserts. Insert a checker, heart or circle into the outer ring. Now you can easily cut out the lids and at the same time already create the hole in the middle. To obtain a particularly large variety of Spitzbuben, change the hole insert from time to time.
Once all the Spitzbuben have been cut out in equal quantities, baked and cooled, the next step follows. Using a powdered sugar sprinkler, dust some powdered sugar over the tops of the Spitzbuben. Then put a blob of jam on the bottom of each bottom and place one of the lids on top. Again, to provide different treats, you can vary the filling. Use raspberry, blackberry, blueberry or strawberry jam or try unusual Spitzbuben with a chocolate ganache or a firm caramel. This way you can surprise your loved ones with a great variety of delicious and great looking Spitzbuben!
