Roll fondant ceiling yellow

Rolled fondant, colloquially called fondant, decorative fondant, icing or modeling clay, is a soft sugar mass used to decorate and embellish baked goods such as cakes, cupcakes and cake pops. Rolled fondant can be easily used as a coating for cakes, fondant cakes, cake pops or as a topping for cupcakes.

Possibilities with the roll fondant ceiling

The roll fondant blanket is an already rolled out blanket, which you can put over your cake with a few simple steps. So you have a good basis for further decorations and another flavor that refines your cakes. You can also cut out different motifs from the blanket and use them as decorations or use the mass to model subjects.

Processing roll fondant

The sugar mass can be shaped, rolled out, kneaded, modeled, cut out and embossed as desired. Fondant looks especially beautiful with embossed patterns. To do this, simply set the Fondant embosser one. Further, the roll fondant can be decorated and embellished with sugar beads and sugar flowers according to your imagination.

How to use the roll fondant ceiling

Take the rolled fondant out of the package and carefully open the bag. Then you can roll out the roll fondant on a straight surface so that the whole "slice" is visible. Now just pull the corners of the backing paper a little taut and you have a nicely rolled out fondant blanket that can be used right away. Mandatory before using the fondant blanket coat the cake with a buttercream or ganache. Now simply place the rolled fondant blanket over the cake with the white foil facing up and then carefully peel off the foil. Then smooth the ceiling with the fondant smoother already and cut off the remains with a smooth knife.

The rolled fondant blanket is enough for a cake with a diameter of about 20 to 25 cm and a height of 7.5 cm or for a cake with a diameter of about 15 to 20 cm and a height of 10 cm.
