Schiller curls Ø 1.3 x 8 cm, 10 pieces

Delicious foam rolls, Italian cannoli and delicious aperitifs with salty filling are formed and baked in no time with these Schillerlocken. Before and during baking, the dough is held in shape by the Schillerlocken, after which they can be easily peeled off and filled. Let your creativity run wild, combine different doughs and fillings and create your own aperitif, dessert or crunchy snack!

Full cream

Put the Schiller curls ready, to make it easier to remove the baked dough, you can lightly grease them with butter or oil. Then cut the dough into strips. If you want to make very short rolls, cut the dough crosswise, otherwise lengthwise. Then take the first strip of dough and a curl. Wrap the dough tightly around the shape.

Roll up the dough slightly overlapping, so you get the impression of a cornet. You can also roll up the strip flush or as a curl with slightly larger distances. The last variant is more suitable as decoration or as a delicious napkin ring. Then brush the dough curls with a little egg yolk and sprinkle a little sesame seeds on top as needed. Bake the cornets like this at 180 °C until they are nice and golden brown.

While the Schillerlocken are cooling, you can prepare a delicious filling. Let your creativity run wild and experiment with the recipe. You can add herbs, spices, but also ham or salmon to a firm cream cheese. Finally, whip some whole cream until stiff and fold it in, making the filling nice and fluffy. Fill this with a star-shaped nozzle into the Schillerlocken and the delicious aperitif rolls are ready.

The molds are also perfect for cannoli or other sweet rolls. Cannoli are an Italian specialty with a thin, crispy dough and an airy, sweet filling.
