Pizza cutter
If the pizza comes freshly fragrant and nice and crispy from the oven, you can usually hardly wait to enjoy a bite of the delicious pastry. But first it must be cut into suitable pieces, this is of course best done with the old-fashioned pizza wheel.

Pizza cutter
A pizza tastes best when it is served still fresh from the oven, cut into pieces. However, cutting the crispy dough with a normal knife is often a difficult task. A pizza cutter, on the other hand, is perfect.
Pizza cutter - use
Pizza
Pizza is one of the simplest and tastiest foods there is and the best part is that everyone can top the dough the way they like it best. But the right dough must be with every pizza.
Perfect pizza dough
250 g water
1 tbsp oil
1/2 cube yeast
1 pinch sugar
500 g flour
1 tsp salt
Mix water, oil, the yeast and a little sugar. In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt, then form a small hollow in it. Then pour the yeast water into this well. Now knead the whole thing into a smooth dough and put it in a lightly oiled bowl. Covered with a dough plastic, the dough should rest for one to two hours at room temperature. Then the dough is divided into two or four balls. With a rolling pin, half of the dough is rolled into a square base, and a quarter can be used to form a round pizza.
Put the dough on a baking paper and cover it. Let your creativity run wild! Tomato sauce, cheese, mozzarella, artichokes, ham, salami, pineapple, corn, mushrooms or even a fresh egg are perfect toppings and can be combined in many ways. So bake your pizza for about 12 minutes. The pizza will be especially crispy if you bake it on a hot bread baking stone.
Fresh from the oven, cut the pizza immediately into suitable pieces, but be careful; do not burn the hot edge. The large pizza cutter is suitable for thin, crispy dough as well as for somewhat thicker and juicier bases.
Cut dough
The pizza cutter can of course also be used to cut unbaked dough. If the pizza dough or the wähenteig has not become nice and round, you can easily cut off the unwanted bumps and knead in again.
Guetzli doughs can also be easily cut using a pizza cutter and a rolling pin as a spacer. Then place the individual Guetzli on the baking paper with a spatula so that they do not warp afterwards.
