Stainless steel bowl 0.9 l
Every kitchen needs a certain basic equipment, in which a simple bowl can not be missing. As a simple helper in the preparation of various ingredients, to the melting of chocolate, the bowl is useful for everything.
Stainless steel bowl - use
Thanks to your material, stainless steel bowls can be used for almost everything. They can withstand great heat as well as icy cold, so you can easily put them in the freezer or pour a boiling hot caramel from the pan directly into the bowl. In addition, stainless steel distributes and conducts heat particularly well. So if you want to melt chocolate or temper couverture, it is best to use such a bowl for your water bath.
For your water bath, pour little water into a pan, the bowl should be large enough that its bottom does not touch the water. Our stainless steel bowl has a narrow rim where you can easily lift the bowl or hang it directly by the pan. Now heat the water, hot steam rises, which gently and evenly heats the mass in the bowl.
If you have an induction stove, this bowl is perfect for you. For example, if you still find small pieces of chocolate in the mass when making a ganache of chocolate and cream, the ganache can be easily reheated by placing the bowl on the plate for a short moment. The stainless steel is suitable for induction and thus allows reheating even without a water bath or transferring to a pan. You can also reheat various masses in a stainless steel bowl on a normal stovetop. However, the bowl should not be left on the plate, moreover, you should constantly stir the mass slightly.
Last but not least, it should also be mentioned that stainless steel is easy to clean. Fat residues can be removed better than is the case with plastic. This ensures, for example, that your egg whites can be beaten nice and stiff without collapsing due to fat residues.
